Christmas Weekend 2010

This year, Christmas was great. I enjoyed it a lot, not only with my family but also with Jay's. But the downside to it, was spending it with my Mom's side of the fam on Christmas Eve. That night was just so awkward. It's tradition for us to spend Christmas Eve with my mom's side of the family, but this year was the worst. Me and Jay ended up staying there for only like, 30 mins? I didn't even get to take that many pictures either. Which totally sucked. We didn't even stay until 12 which is when they start handing out presents because I felt so uneasy that I knew I had to leave asap. From what I heard anyway, after we left..it was pretty much blah and we didn't miss anything anyways. It's just not the same anymore. But what could you do? Nothing.

Anyway, Christmas morning totally made up for all of it! Me and Jay made breakfast for us and my whole family. My sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews arrived around 10ish and right after we ate, we began to open presents. Christmas with my family is always fun and definitely something to always look forward to. Seeing everyone's faces when they opened the gifts me and Jay gave were definitely worth all the fuss because they all totally loved it! And I have to say, I too, loved ALL MY GIFTS! My nephew got a Nikon SLR camera (which is so cool) so me and him were going picture crazy!

Here's a few pics from that morning:

After Christmas with my fambam, me and Jay went over to his Mom's house to have dinner with his family. Had a such a great dinner and I can't explain just how much I love Jay's moms cooking. Had like 3 plates full of her ribs, chicken and macaroni salad ;P Got some more great gifts including my Glee CD's that I've been playing out everyday since then! I love them sooooo much! Hehe. After we opened gifts, we took some more pictures and then had some dessert! My fave, guava cake!

After a long busy day, we ended it all on a good note. Spent time with all our loved ones and received some really great gifts the I cannot wait to use! Now...it's just time to look forward to NYE! ;D

I love the pictures! Seems like you had a great Christmas despite the awkwardness of Christmas Eve.

Lovely pictures! Man, our tree is NEVER that loaded with presents because my family and I always end up asking each other what we want so we don't even bother wrapping it, LOL. Oh well. I love both your dresses! :) And I read your tweet about the Bop It. Haha.

Thanks girls! ;) Yeah, our tree is full of presents all the time because not only do we have a big family, we have a lot of kids! hehe. So mainly the gifts are for them.

And as for the Bop It, it's so addicting! Who knew that little thing could be so much fun ;P
