Thoughts:

Today is really just a John Mayer kind of day. I'm back at work and I'm hoping today is just gonna be a chill one. I'm off again tomorrow and for the weekend so today is basically my last "working day of the year". Haha sounds so weird..A patient came in today and scheduled an appointment for next week and before she left, she said "Ok dear, I'll see you next year!" I laughed a little and then I realized, omg, this is year is basically almost over!

I don't know if I'm happy that this year has come and gone because there were really some highs and lows attached to it. But I honestly think that 2010 was really a year where I had to face the music, grow up and decide what my heart really wanted to do. I made some great decisions and some not so good. But it really helped me become who I am now (as cliche as that might sound). I've figured out those who are really my friend and those who were just there when they needed something and I've learned that when you feel like you've hit rock bottom, there's really no where else you can go, but UP.

Like I said, 2010 had just as many lows as many highs, and thankfully..with the help of friends, family, and Jay..I made it through. So, I guess you can say I'm ready to close this chapter and move on to the next. I've decided also, that for 2011, I'm not going to make any resolutions..but to just stick to guns and have my mind set on what I want and where I want to be. It may take me awhile, but I'll get there..oh yes I'll get there...someday.

2011..I'm soooo ready for YOU!

Christmas Weekend 2010

This year, Christmas was great. I enjoyed it a lot, not only with my family but also with Jay's. But the downside to it, was spending it with my Mom's side of the fam on Christmas Eve. That night was just so awkward. It's tradition for us to spend Christmas Eve with my mom's side of the family, but this year was the worst. Me and Jay ended up staying there for only like, 30 mins? I didn't even get to take that many pictures either. Which totally sucked. We didn't even stay until 12 which is when they start handing out presents because I felt so uneasy that I knew I had to leave asap. From what I heard anyway, after we left..it was pretty much blah and we didn't miss anything anyways. It's just not the same anymore. But what could you do? Nothing.

Anyway, Christmas morning totally made up for all of it! Me and Jay made breakfast for us and my whole family. My sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews arrived around 10ish and right after we ate, we began to open presents. Christmas with my family is always fun and definitely something to always look forward to. Seeing everyone's faces when they opened the gifts me and Jay gave were definitely worth all the fuss because they all totally loved it! And I have to say, I too, loved ALL MY GIFTS! My nephew got a Nikon SLR camera (which is so cool) so me and him were going picture crazy!

Here's a few pics from that morning:

After Christmas with my fambam, me and Jay went over to his Mom's house to have dinner with his family. Had a such a great dinner and I can't explain just how much I love Jay's moms cooking. Had like 3 plates full of her ribs, chicken and macaroni salad ;P Got some more great gifts including my Glee CD's that I've been playing out everyday since then! I love them sooooo much! Hehe. After we opened gifts, we took some more pictures and then had some dessert! My fave, guava cake!

After a long busy day, we ended it all on a good note. Spent time with all our loved ones and received some really great gifts the I cannot wait to use! Now...it's just time to look forward to NYE! ;D
