Since today was my day off and also my first pay day of the month, I decided to go crazy with Christmas shopping. I've been excited to finally start, but most of all..to start wrapping gifts. Ever since I could remember, wrapping gifts was something I always loved to do with my mom. I remember Christmas Eve afternoon/evening, I would help her wrap all the gifts so they would all be ready for Christmas Day. Now, ever since I've started working and buying my own gifts for my family, I try to get all the shopping and wrapping done asap!
First thing this morning as soon as I woke up, I made sure to put in all my online orders that I've been debating on purchasing. It felt good to cross off 5 people on our list, but I'm still kind of ehhhhh that we still have 16 more people to go :( It seems like so much, but I'm sure we'll have at least half of it done by next week.
After I did my online shopping, I got started on wrapping gifts! It was so fun, but I realized I didn't have as much wrapping paper or bows that I needed. So once Jay got home, we headed over to Wal-Mart and bought a few more things, including boxes and more tissue paper.
As much as I enjoy this Holiday season and getting ready for Christmas, I just can't wait for all this shopping for people to be over with. But on a more positive note, I know the look on my loved ones faces once they see what we got them, will all be worth it :)

The season of giving..
As Christmas gets closer and only 20 days left 'til the day..I'm still stuck in a rut on what to get all my loves for Christmas. Having a big family, mine and Jay's combined leaves us with 21 people. Every year is always a challenge for us because one, were always very limited on money and two, we love to get everyone more than one gift, but this year...just might have to be a little different.
Now I know Christmas is not about what you give or what you receive, but Christmas has always been a way I loved to give back to the people who deserve it..which is family. The ones who I hold near and dear to my heart. Right now though, I'm just stressing on WHAT to get everyone. Not that anyone's picky or anything, but I always want that one gift to mean something you know..not just something random.
As for Jay..being who and how he is, he tells me he doesn't want anything. Ughhh! Haha. Although I do have a list of things I'm planning on getting him..I'm already excited just thinking about it ;)
I've started making a list of everyone and the things I'm planning on getting them. Hopefully this helps because right now..I need all the help I can get. If any of you have any websites or ideas of places that have low prices for gifts, please feel free to let me know! I appreciate A LOT!
