So yesterday like I mentioned, some of my family headed out to Cache Creek for my dad's birthday. It was a long drive to and from the casino, but it was totally worth it. I'm just glad that my parents enjoyed it, so that's all the matters.
Left our house around 6:30 and got there about 8:30. It was me, my sisters, my brother-in-law, Jay and parents. Unfortunately my brother's family wasn't able to come, but since were having a big dinner here tonight at home, it's making up for whoever didn't get to come. As soon as we got to the resort, which might I add is huge and really nice, we headed straight to the buffet. The food was sooooo delicious! And they had all kinds too, Italian, Chinese, American and etc.
After dinner, my parents, Jay and my brother-in-law separated from me and my sisters to go gamble. Since I, nor my sisters are gamblers, we decided to go hangout at the club they had. Luckily there was a really and I mean really good cover band performing that night. Ordered a few drinks, had some good laughs and pretty much just enjoyed a great night with my sisters.
The others had their fun, but sadly..no one came out a winner :( Boooo. Oh well, you can't have it all right? Lol. So we left the casino around 1ish and came home around 4. Got about 4 hours of sleep, which was just enough to get through my work day. Came home to a lovely package from Coastal Scents that I excitedly ripped open the moment I saw it! Tonight, our whole family is coming over again for dinner. Jay's gonna be cooking up a storm, BBQing short ribs, steak and chicken! I'm so stoked! Here's some pictures from yesterday :) Hope you guys are having a great weekend so far! Happy Saturday!
My parents waiting patiently for us to leave already haha.
Me and my sisters.
My sister Marjorie (middle) is hella cheesin' it! LOL
My first plate at the buffet.
I told you I wasn't hungry haha.
But they had some good ass ribs though and the broccoli with cheese was so on point! Mmm ;)
My plate of desserts! Everything was good, besides the chocolate eclair.
The glasses were full of mango pudding. It was good, but I prefer the strawberry one.
Me and Jay after we ate. Slowing falling into a food coma.
Busta Groove Band. They were REALLY good.
They covered songs all the way from the 70's to now.
I loved their Michael Jackson covers the most!
Check out all the older Filipino's getting their groove on.
I hope I'm like that when I get older ;)
My sisters, Marjorie and Marilyn.
Me and my eldest sister. She's gonna kill me for posting this pic LOL
Our first round of drinks, Corona, Midori Sour, Mango Mojito
My yummy, but STRONG mango mojito!

awwww i'm glad you had such a great time sis :) the food looks delish too!! i'm not much of a gambler either.. i've only gambled once and that's when i turned 21 and i went in with $50 and came out with $200 and called it done! i love how jay cooks up a storm like that for you and the fam! he's gonna be a great future husband and daddy someday!!
Haha yeah, I'm so hesitant to even spend a $20 at machine. The most I've ever won on a slot machine was 40 bucks lol. And yeah, Jay's always been a cooker which is good because I can't cook for shieeettt!! LOL well I can bake :)
