- 8/20/10-Friday: Our girls night ended up turning out to be sucha great night. There's nothing better than putting aside some time to spend with your girls, out on the town. Drinks, dancing, lots of laughs, and tons of fun! I seriously can't wait until we do it all again.

- 8/21-Saturday: Had my first and only day of training today for the new job at the optometrist office. Can I just say I'm literally scared shitless to work all by myself, starting Monday morning :'( I honestly start tearing up when I begin to think of how difficult this job is compared to my other receptionist job. I mean I know I can do it, it's just that I don't feel comfortable as of yet and unfortunately, there's not much I can do about it. The idea that appointments and eye exams rest on my hands is just really A LOT of pressure. I hope I can overcome this feeling of "not doing well and failing". It's just all in my head, I know, but it just sucks knowing that come Monday morning, I'm on my own, left with my instincts on what I'm supposed to do and if I'm doing everything correctly. Wish me luck!
- Also today, our family celebrated my nephew's 4th birthday at my brother's house. I absolutely love how much my nephew lights up once he see's cake, so once he had his red velvet cake right in front of him, he just couldn't stop smiling. Picture after picture, his smile WOULD NOT budge! Haha he's just too cute for words and one of the smartest little boys that I know. Although his real birthday isn't until the 24th, I'm glad to know that he has the chance to celebrate his birthday on two days this year! Which means, more cake for him ;)
