I'm pretty bummed because it's our actual yearly anniversary and we hardly celebrate our monthly's, and it just sucks not even being able to spend time with him. I know when I get home, he's going to be tired already. He promised me though that on Saturday, we'll celebrate and do whatever I want to do. Honestly, it really doesn't matter as long as I'm with him (corny as hell) but IDGAF! Haha. Maybe a dinner or what not. Ever since I've been working, my schedule has been thrown off whack. Right now I'm mainly working closing shifts, which isn't bad to me, but I don't get to see Jay until late. Getting used to this is going to take some time, but we both dealt with it before, so now shouldn't be any different. We just both learned to appreciate the time that we do have together, even more.
I really can't believe how fast time has flew by. 5 years ago today, he asked me if I wanted to be his "girlfriend". I remember he was dropping me home from a whole day at Great America and our dinner at Pho #1. Hahaha. We were in the car driving down Mclaughlin, and omg, Music of My Heart was on the radio....(LOL) and he asked me. It was 8:50PM on a summer night. My response was "Okay, yeah, yes!" Whata noob :)
Half a decade later, I'm still happily in love with him. He has always been there for my bratty, stubborn ass. And everything he gives me, is more than enough. I love you Francisco "Jay" Duque Jr! I can't wait to see what the rest of our lives has in store for us...
